The name

DOPE stands for Data On Previous Engagements. Collecting DOPE and confirming it is the recipe for accurate shooting, and a core fundamental that separates the average gun owner from someone truly capable of placing accurate shots on target. We chose the name because it’s a universal fundamental.

For all Americans

The operator-themed market is already taken, and we understand that. Our goal is to make the highest quality clothing for all Americans. Not everyone did time in special forces or wants to wear “moto” designs. Most of our friends refuse to wear that stuff.

From day one, we set out to make apparel that doesn’t scream skulls, crossbones and war on everything we sell. Some designs reference competition shooting or firearms, but we also want to make shirts that just look good, the kind someone who isn’t up to speed would wear because they like how it looks.

Made in the USA. Always.

Where a shirt is embellished doesn’t mean much if the shirt itself was made overseas. Most people already have a closet full of foreign-made goods.

Whether or not we always agree with or support the government, we love this country and the American flag. We couldn’t bring ourselves to put the flag Americans have fought, bled and died for on a shirt made overseas. That’s why our products are always made in the USA.

About our prices

Because of that, our prices run a bit higher than our competitors’, and the quality reflects it. We don’t say that to throw shade. We get it, and we’d prefer not to spend up to 6x more per shirt than our competitors do either.

A lot of companies believe no one cares where their clothes are made. That may be true for some people, maybe even most. Our products are for the ones who do care.

We’d rather apologize for our prices than apologize for exploited labor.

How it’s made

Our heavyweight cotton tees are currently manufactured in Los Angeles, and we embellish everything in house. Every order ships from South Carolina. We don’t use print on demand, and we don’t dropship anything.

We guarantee our prints won’t crack or fade. It’s safer to say the shirt will give out before the print does.
